Our products consist of three different materials, arranged in different layers including aluminium foil, rubber composite and foam.
The aluminium foil will play an important role in fire resistance. The rubber composite is in the middle core and loaded with heavy and flexible barium to trap the noise. The foam is the inner layer of convoluted foam for mass decoupling and absorbing the noise to prevent it from transferring to outside of the lagging.
The standard weight of pipe lagging is 5 kg/m2. This is the best weight which meets all the requirement for lagging and keep the material cost economical.
Installation guidance for duct lagging
Our acoustic pipe lagging is made in 5 meter rolls. When you do the lag and joints, we recommend that you should use aluminium ducting tape. To handle the roll, you could use regular cutting tools to cut them into your desired size. On buying, remember to add the cutting wastes to make sure you have the best result of installation.
